“2018 and 2019 Were the Worst Years on Record for Whale-Ship Collisions off the West Coast of the United States.”

 

As a student of ArtCenter Designmatters program, I work with Marine Science Institute UC Santa Barbara for the whale safe program.

In this project, I transfer the knowledge and observation to the visual image. The animations are designed to draw attention to a serious issue of whale-ship collisions.

Ships’ speed should be reduced in time in order to avoid collisions.
